Dallas DanceAfrica marketplace to feature African Fashion Experience – III
Dallas Black Dance Theater – DBDT presents the 13th Annual DanceAfrica series on October 5-6, 2018 at the Moody Performance Hall on Friday October 5 and a day-long FREE DanceAfrica Marketplace at the Annette Strauss Square on October 6.

DanceAfrica marketplace features family friendly activities including main-stage performances, fun, food, vendors, and a fashion show; African Fashion experience- III hosted by Trendy Africa and Dallas international fashion – DIF.
In its third showcase, African Fashion Experience – III has proved to be the highlight of the marketplace experience as it features a variety of African themed attires, dance and culture. The 2018 edition will be no exception. The FREE events will hold from 10AM-3PM and the fashion show will hold at about 11AM.

Dallas Black Dance Theatre is an internationally recognized professional dance company that engages the cross-cultural community through contemporary modern dance presented from the African-American experience. Founded by Ann Williams in 1976, the company has been designated as an American Masterpiece Touring Artist by the National Endowment for the Arts in 2008 and received the Texas Medal of Arts Award for Arts Education in 2017.
