The 2026 edition of DanceAfrica festival and marketplace by Dallas Black Dance Theater- DBDT is one for the records. The dance performers thrilled. African Fashion Experience VIII, the Fashion Show by Trendy Africa featuring PDC Styles, was the longest running in the history of the festival. The show which features at least 20 styles ran for more than 25 minutes.
Bandan Koro Drum and Dance Ensemble, DBDA Allegro Performing Ensemble, DC3- Lancaster High School, IM Terrell, Griener Exploratory Academy, DBDT:Encore!, Zion Dance Project, Lady Panthers Dance Team- Hulcy STEAM, Texas Ballet Theatre School, and others on the dance lineup kept the audience well into overtime at the Klyde Warren park venue in Dallas.
