Jennifer Lopez attends the special screening of her new film “Unstoppable”
Jennifer Lopez was one of several celebrities who attended Amazon MGM Studios screening of “Unstoppable” at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood.
An inspiring, true story about Anthony Robles (played by Jharrel Jerome), the film centers around the life of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and won a national championship in 2011 while competing at Arizona State University.
With an all-star ensemble cast including Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Don Cheadle and Jennifer Lopez, Anthony Robles, himself is seen in the film performing complex wrestling moves and stunts. He is also a producer of the film.
Directed by William Goldenberg, Jharrel Jerome, who made his debut in the Oscar winning drama “Moonlight,’” trained for months to establish the physicality and determination required for the role.
“Unstoppable” is produced by Artists Equity, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company and releases in U.S theatres December 6.
