Lionsgate hosts a red-carpet Gala for “Megalopolis”
Writer, director, and producer Francis Ford Coppola celebrated the film at Roy Thomson Hall at the Toronto Film Festival with members of his cast which included Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, Grace VanderWaal, and D.B. Sweeney.
The filmmakers, cast and guests also toasted the film at a pre-reception at Estiatorio Milos. Francis gave a moving introduction to the film, calling out Canadian crew members and singing the Ontario Song.
A Roman Epic set in an imagined Modern America; the film will be released in US theatres September 27.
