The Cast and creators from the reality television series “Queer Eye” were at The White House this week. Commemorating 20 years of the series and LGBTQIA+ visibility in the US, they met with Vice President Kamala Harris who invited the show’s cast and creators to host a discussion in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
The meeting was timed to the 20th anniversary of when Vice President Harris first officiated same-sex marriages in her role as Attorney General of California and the group revisited the impact of the series and how it helped advance LGBTQIA+ representation in the early 2000s.
In attendance were David Collins and Michael Williams, Carson Kressley and Jai Rodriguez as well as Karamo Brown and Jonathan van Ness.
