Miss Ethiopia America 2018 Metasebiya Kidane was crowned the new Miss Africa America 2019 which held in Houston Texas at the prestigious Hobby Center for the performing arts. The Event celebrated 37 nationalities and cultures, the contestant competed in interviews, high fashion, national costume, angel wear and Evening gown. The group of ladies where very accomplished from, civil engineer, Nasa Astronaut, Professional athletes, entertainers and TV personality just to mention a few.

Miss Africa America™ is an African beauty pageant for young African ladies living in America, giving them an opportunity to promote community involvement, culture, heritage both American and African. It was established in 2010 and a registered Corporation in the state of Florida on November 11th 2011. Miss Africa America™ aspires to crown 55 African countries that are divided into five regions namely Northern, Eastern, Western, Southern and Central Africa, each region has 11 countries which makes a total of 55 African counties.

Directors and volunteers organize the country competitions, showcasing culture and the importance of community involvement throughout America, encouraging the youth in education and good health.
